Success is a choice!!! I am not sure if you have heard that before or not, but when was the last time you heard a story about someone achieving true greatness at no personal cost or effort?
Have you ever known someone who thought that winning the lottery would be the solution to all of their problems?
Most people that win the lottery end up broke a relatively short time later. They are back to square one except now everyone they know hates them. Their friends (used to be) and relatives (can't do much about that) for a little while thought they were great, but now the veil that was over their eyes has been lifted like a bride right before the kiss.
What does that broke lottery winner's associates see now?
They are seeing that the "winner" was always just a loser with a temporary positive cash flow. Now when they look at the "winner", they are only reminded of their own shortcomings. The fairy tale is over. Now, this kind of person is a person who believes that winning the lottery should solve all problems.
Not everyone thinks that way!
There is a paradigm, or framework of thinking, that prescribes GREATNESS to be a matter of CHOICE!
God in all of his wonder told Moses, "I am that I am!" No one can compare to God's greatness, but look at what that phrase means: I am because I say so. MY WORD says that I AM!
While we can't compare to God (at all), we are still made in his image. We have the power of choice. We can choose to be what we were truly meant to be...GREAT...or we can choose another paradigm. Just don't think that winning the lottery will permanently change anything.
